Connect
One integration model reaches every EHR. Authentication is handled for you, whether your app is patient-facing, runs system-to-system, or launches inside the EHR.
ConnectHealth connects your product to 20+ EHRs, with pre-built connections for Epic, Cerner and athenahealth. See the full list. It runs inside your own cloud, so patient data never leaves your environment.
Run ConnectHealth yourself, or have Mindbowser's engineers build the integration on it for you.

Every new customer should not trigger another six-month EHR integration cycle. ConnectHealth gives your product one reusable integration layer, so signed deals move to live workflows without a new integration build.
Each customer adds another custom build, mapping cycle, and go-live dependency.
Sales wins the customer, but delivery still depends on a custom EHR project.
Every Epic, Cerner, Athena, or specialty EHR connection needs another build, test plan, and go-live cycle.
Engineering capacity stays locked before the next customer can launch.
Build once, reuse the foundation, and launch provider workflows faster.
Your product is ready to connect without waiting on a fresh integration build.
ConnectHealth handles EHR connectivity, authentication, mapping, routing, orchestration, and deployment.
Reuse the same integration layer across new health systems, customers, and workflows.

One integration model reaches every EHR. Authentication is handled for you, whether your app is patient-facing, runs system-to-system, or launches inside the EHR.

Assemble the workflow on a visual canvas, or let Helix build it for you. More than 150 building blocks cover the clinical data operations you need.

Every hospital security team will ask you the same question: where does the patient data live? With most integration vendors, it flows through their systems and sits on their servers. With ConnectHealth, the platform runs inside your own cloud, so the data never leaves your environment. You keep ownership, data residency, and the security posture your customers demand in review. It is often the difference between closing an enterprise deal and getting stuck in it.
Application logs and audit logs now live in the same view. Every workflow run records who accessed which FHIR resource and what the outcome was, with sensitive fields masked so the people reading logs never see PHI. Operational logs are retained for a year, and the HIPAA audit trail is held for six years in immutable storage.
Because the platform runs inside your own cloud, those logs are yours. There is no support ticket between you and the answer.
Connect to Epic, Oracle Health (Cerner), athenahealth, eClinicalWorks and 20+ more through one model. Three authentication flows cover any app pattern: patient-facing consent, system-to-system for background sync, and embedded launch that runs inside the EHR with patient context already loaded. Whether you need read-only access to pull data or full two-way sync with write-backs, it is the same platform. Build a workflow once and reuse it across every EHR you support.

Explore →Modern healthcare transaction infrastructure integrated with our EHR integration platform.
Explore →Native connectivity for outpatient and clinic-based systems.
Explore →Reliable integration for hospitals using MEDITECH platforms.

Explore →One API across your customers' EHRs. Your product makes one call, and ConnectHealth writes it to each customer's EHR in that EHR's own format.
Write scope set by each EHR. Full FHIR read and write where the EHR allows it, read-only where it doesn't.
Each customer's gates still apply. The EHR vendor's review and the hospital's activation come with every new customer.
Assemble workflows visually from 150+ building blocks, or let Helix build them for you. You get FHIR read, search, create, update and delete, a visual Mapping Engine across HL7 v2, X12 and FHIR, HL7 parsing, bulk FHIR export, real-time eligibility (X12 270/271) via Stedi, and patient communication (voice and SMS via Twilio).
AI agents can act on the data. You choose the model (Amazon Bedrock, Vertex AI or OpenRouter), and optional guardrails redact protected health information before it reaches a model. To keep AI steps inside your own cloud, run Bedrock in your own account with guardrails on.

Publish any workflow as an MCP (Model Context Protocol) tool. AI assistants and agents can then check coverage or book a visit through your governed integrations, protected by your API key, with every call audited. See the FHIR MCP server.
With CDS Hooks, the HL7 standard for clinical decision support (CDS) inside the EHR, your insight appears as a card at the moment of the order, answered by your ConnectHealth workflow. See CDS Hooks integration.
Embed your app in the EHR with a few lines of code using the ConnectHealth SDK (`@mindbowserinc/ch-client`). Launch, sign-in and patient and encounter context are handled. New to in-EHR apps? Read how SMART on FHIR works.
Hospitals send HL7 v2. Payers speak X12. New apps expect FHIR. ConnectHealth's Universal Data Mapper lets you translate between all three visually no custom scripts, no format-specific code. Map once, reuse across every integration.

The biggest difference is where your data lives. ConnectHealth runs inside your own cloud, so patient data stays in your environment; many vendors route and store it on theirs. You also get AI that builds the workflow, not just a pipe that moves data. See the full comparison on our Redox alternative page.
A new EHR is generally treated as configuration rather than a completely new integration build. The existing connector and data model can be reused, with additional work focused on mapping fields and handling system-specific requirements. The goal is to avoid making every new EHR a ground-up, multi-month project.
ConnectHealth supports major EHRs, while some niche, regional, Canadian, NHS, or specialty systems may require additional configuration or connector work. The important distinction is whether the requested integration is already live, configurable using an existing connector, or requires a new connector.
Yes, to a point. EHR sandbox environments can support demos and initial development, but they usually contain limited test-patient data and may not represent every production workflow or edge case. Some validation therefore still requires access to a real EHR environment.
ConnectHealth runs in your own cloud account. Patient data stays there.
Running an EHR certification process for the first time can involve getting sandbox access, completing the EHR vendor’s review, signing the required agreements, and testing against sample data before anything reaches production. With ConnectHealth, much of that work is handled through the platform’s existing EHR integration setup and configuration rather than starting from scratch for every customer. For fully custom engagements, Mindbowser can also work alongside the customer through the sandbox and certification process, including EHR coordination and implementation support.
Inside your own cloud. The platform runs in your environment, you hold the encryption keys, and every action is logged.
Patient-facing OAuth, system-to-system, and embedded launch inside the EHR. Most documented EHRs support all three.
Assemble it visually from 150+ building blocks, or describe it in plain English and let Helix build it. No custom integration code required.
Go-live is gated by the EHR vendor's review and the hospital's activation, not by building the integration. The platform itself is running in your cloud with a sandbox in minutes.
The integration or connector layer can be used independently of the workflow builder. If a customer already has its own orchestration or workflow engine, ConnectHealth can primarily serve as the interoperability layer connecting those workflows to EHRs and other healthcare systems.
Yes. Most teams start with a single EHR or workflow and add more as they grow.
ConnectHealth is Mindbowser’s AI-first healthcare integration engine. Connect to Epic, Cerner, Athena, and 20+ EHRs, deployed inside your own cloud so PHI never leaves your environment. Helix AI generates production-ready FHIR and HL7 workflows from plain English. No custom code. Predictable pricing. Sandbox in minutes.
