The sales team had no way to generate real-time equipment configurations during customer meetings, and the project itself came with constraints that made the build as hard as the product.
Sales reps relied on manual processes to work out the right combination of controllers, receivers, filters, and related components on the spot.
Enterprise-level stakeholder sign-offs ran across multiple layers, and any late back-and-forth risked the schedule outright.
The core data layer was an Excel sheet driving every product configuration, and it needed to be parsed accurately and reliably from the app.

We ran a discovery and wireframing phase first, mapping every flow and screen before development started, since multi-layer enterprise approvals meant late changes could jeopardize the timeline. The result is a rule-based engine that lets salespeople input customer requirements, select a sizing method, and get precise equipment recommendations on the spot.
The client's product configuration logic already lived in an Excel sheet. We built a parsing layer around a defined data structure so the app reads that sheet accurately, and pushed a dynamic update path so every device stays current without a manual reload.
Salespeople frequently work in areas with limited or no internet connectivity, so the app needed full offline functionality. We built an online-offline architecture that stores data locally during connectivity lapses and syncs to the centralized server once reconnected.
We deployed on iOS with Swift, on Android with Android Studio, and on web, all inside a 4-month timeline that included QA testing and production environment setup. Reps can also export and share a generated configuration as a PDF directly from a customer meeting.
