Epic Certified Analyst & Healthcare Implementation Specialist

Jennifer Seefeld is an Epic-certified implementation analyst with six Epic certifications and over a decade of experience in healthcare organizations. She has built Patient Access modules for Community Connect practices, led vendor-side Epic integrations for SaaS companies, supervised implementation teams delivering at scale across US health systems, and created the documentation and training materials that make go-lives stick. Her perspective comes from having sat on every side of the table: provider org, vendor, and implementation partner.
Jennifer didn’t start in healthcare IT with a plan. She started as an Implementation Specialist at Essia Health (then Scribes STAT) in 2013, tutoring nurses and physicians through new EMR go-lives: Paragon and Epic, ambulatory and inpatient, Cadence and Prelude, ClinDoc, CPOE. The work was field-based, fast, and unforgiving. You either understood the workflow or you didn’t.
That ground-level experience became the foundation for everything that followed. At Bend Memorial Clinic, she moved into Practice Management Analyst work: building Epic applications for scheduling and registration, owning the Real Time Eligibility application, leading integrated testing and risk mitigation. The job wasn’t just configuration. It was writing decision documents, running review meetings, and figuring out how to translate a new EMR into daily clinic reality for staff who had no patience for a rough go-live.
In 2019, she took an Epic Connect Implementation Analyst role at Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula. Patient Access build for new Community Connect practices (Cadence, Prelude, SER, RTE, EPM/EPP, BEN) plus maintenance of existing practice builds and support for the enterprise team’s upgrades. It was the clearest possible proof of her Patient Access depth.
The vendor side came next. At Asparia, then Intrado, she worked directly with Epic clients needing SMS and outreach integrations: first building the BFF team’s implementation and support content, then hosting office hours and internal trainings, then being promoted to supervisor of the Intrado BFF team. She was awarded Sales MVP in 2021. Three years at TeleVox Healthcare followed, routing 9-1-1 calls, unifying school communication systems, ensuring customer success across emergency communications and healthcare delivery.
Six Epic certifications is the credential line. What’s underneath it is twelve years of building, documenting, training, and supervising across every configuration of the Epic ecosystem: from small clinic go-lives to enterprise vendor integrations. That’s the lens she brings to everything she writes.
Implementation analyst, documentation builder, go-live specialist. Twelve years of Epic work from the ground up: provider org, vendor, and everything between.
Epic Certified Analyst & Healthcare Implementation Specialist
Implementation Specialist at Essia Health (2013 – 2014). Practice Management Analyst / Application Coordinator at Bend Memorial Clinic (2014 – 2017). Business Analyst at Summit Health Management (2018 – 2019). Epic Connect Implementation Analyst at Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula (2019 – 2020). BFF Lead → BFF Manager at Intrado (2021 – 2023). Customer Success Manager at TeleVox Healthcare (2020 – 2023).
Jennifer’s first Epic work was in 2013, tutoring nurses and physicians through EMR go-lives at the bedside. She learned early that the gap between a correct build and a usable workflow is measured in how well someone explains it on day one. That instinct, to document carefully, train precisely, and stay on-site until the workflow actually works, shaped every role she took after. By the time she earned her sixth Epic certification, she had built Patient Access from scratch for Community Connect practices, owned a Real Time Eligibility application through a full lifecycle, and supervised a team delivering Epic integrations across major US health systems.
